Small Works projects covered under this Letter of Understanding shall be defined as office buildings not to exceed two hundred thousand (200,000) square feet. Small medical clinics, doctor’s offices and dental offices where they are free standing and not attached to or part of a hospital or medical facility

Hospital additions, not to exceed two hundred thousand (200,000) square feet Renovations and remodel work Nursing homes Warehouses Gas stations Auto sales agencies and garages Restaurants

Motels Small hotels, not to exceed one hundred (100) guest rooms Convenience stores Shopping centers Retail and wholesale facilities Grocery stores Educational facilities

This Letter of Understanding shall allow the use of Journeyman Inside Wiremen, classified under the terms of the Inside Agreement with exception of the allowing a wage rate of eighty (80) percent of the base rate of pay with the contributions as per Article XIV.

In addition Section 3.03 shall be modified to allow the second shift to be paid at the base hourly rate of plus 10% for all hours worked and the third shift to be paid at the base hourly rate plus 15% for all hours worked.

Wages – Wage rates are based on the application percentage of the Inside Journeyman Wireman base wage rate of pay. Health & Welfare – Upon completion of 1,000 hours of documented work experience and successful completion of training requirements as established by the local JAC. (Refer to JAC advancement & training curriculum schedule)

Vacation – 5% deduct. Local Pension – Upon completion of 8,000 hours of documented work experience and successful completion of training requirements as established by the local JAC. (Refer to JAC for advancement & training curriculum schedule.)

Ratios – A minimum of one (1) Inside Wireman to four (4) Construction Wiremen, Construction Electricians or Apprentices per shop Scope of Work – Construction Wiremen and Construction Electricians may work on all commercial, institutional, industrial* and residential projects. The Local Union may target industrial projects with CW/CE’s at their discretion

*NOTE: CW/CE’s may be placed on industrial projects at a ratio of one (1) CW/CE for every three (3) Journeymen with a maximum of three (3) CW/CE’s on any single jobsite. The apprentice ratio is as stated in Section 4.12 of the Inside Agreement.

Journeymen CW/CE’s 31 62 93 The Local Union may target industrial projects with additional CW/CE’s at their discretion.

Term “Continually Unemployed” – in defining the term “continually unemployed” for either Construction Wiremen or Construction Electricians, it will mean 15% of the total membership of the respective classification being unemployed and available for employment for three (3) consecutive months.
