Here are a couple of pictures of what can happen with a snagged stand while running or pulling out of the hole. This recently happened on a Lakota rig. Reviewed this with both crews on Dec 18.

Stay away when the elevator pick up the drill pipe. Check the elevator after latch and before driller picks up the pipe. Inform the driller if you have any problem. Communication is the key to avoid accidents. “STOP” the job if you see any thing wrong.
