Teena Weathersby- Hampton Teena Weathersby-Hampton is the Director of Mission Delivery Operations for the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana- Michiana. She oversees the overall mission of membership, volunteerism, program, product program and member communications. Teena came to GSNI-M in 2011 from the Girl Scout Council of Eastern Missouri that served over 62,000 girls each year within the St. Louis metropolitan area and 22 surrounding counties. She was the former Assistant Director of Membership for the Urban Program and finally the Assistant Director of Girl Development for the Suburban Region. She began her Girl Scout career in 1999 as Membership Development Manager for the Urban Program where she worked hard to increase visibility of Girl Scouting to the African American, Bosnian and Hispanic community.

New Updated Description There are 2 updates to the MPMF description. The current Girl’s Guides to Girl Scouting do not reflect these updates.

Find out about Religious Recognitions P.R.A.Y. website

New UPDATED Description Requirement #5 is “Keep the Connection Strong.” Girls are instructed to “Find out if your faith community offers a recognition program for Girl Scouts.” The MPMF pin does not replace Religious Recognitions: it complements them.

MPMF and Religious Recognitions MPMF points to the Religious Recognitions, it does not replace them. Why is this important? Religious recognitions are created by the national religious bodies.

MPMF Impact Girls – Girls will see how the Girl Scout Law is connected to their faith. Leaders - MPMF helps ADULTS to make the connection between Girl Scouting and faith. Councils - MPMF can strengthen the partnership between the local Girl Scout council and the faith community. Congregations – They have an important role in Girl Scouting
