6 60% past surgery Association with trauma, calculi or renal transplantation 2/3 are males, 1/3 are younger than 30 years of age 80% in urinary bladder, less frequently in ureters and urethra, or in renal pelvis Macroscopicaly usually polypoid or sessile, friable mass

7 Differential dg: NA vs Adenoca+TCC

8 Differential dg: NA vs Clear cell (mesonephric) adenoca

9 Adenoca in situ Adenoca

10 Differential diagnosis- depends also on localisation Adenocarcinoma or TCC with adenocarcinomatous component collecting duct RCC in renal pelvis Urothelial CIS, particularly in initial stage
