Atlantic Coast SBE AlliancePURPOSE The Goals of the AC-SBE Alliance are to increase the number of URM students receiving PhDs in SBE disciplines and to increase the number of URM students entering the SBE professoriate. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation

Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunities Atlantic Coast SBE Alliance Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunities SBE undergraduate students from AC Alliance Schools have preference for participating in the 10-week Summer Pre-Graduate Research Program at UNC-Chapel Hill. SBE undergraduate students from AC Alliance Schools have preference for participating in the 10-week Summer Pre-Graduate Research Program at UNC-Chapel Hill. Slots are available for up to 12 undergraduate students from AC Alliance schools. Slots are available for up to 12 undergraduate students from AC Alliance schools. Further, the University of Miami, the University of Maryland at College Park, and Howard University have summer research programs as well in which AC Alliance school undergraduate students are encouraged to participate.
