4. Developing Country Co- ordinating Committee (DCCC) Transform to be structured and mandated representation from participating African countries Possible transition over time to Africa “EEIG” Care needed not to lose the direct links with the scientific communities in Africa

5. Scientific Advisory Board/Partnership Board Focus on research priorities including capacity needs and scientific links to third parties. Needs to reflect breadth of EDCTP remit. Membership – how large ? Who - European scientists, African scientists, industry, others ?

6. Secretariat Accountable through Executive Director to GA Presence in Africa and Europe? Size and quality? Links/collaboration with MS resources which could supplement the core EDCTP team?

7. Partnerships Non-EU public funders – NIH, CIHR, etc Charities – BMGF, Wellcome Trust, UNITAID, MSF etc Industry – project agreed links with EFPIA and equivalent SME organisation? Agreements – case by case? - MoUs?
