6.0 inch - Subgrade Meeting a minimum Soil Support Value of 5 Stabilized Subgrade MaterialSection Class IIB4 or Better Soil810.2.01.A.1 MaterialSection Type II Stabilizer Aggregate803.2.02 209.1 General Description This Work shall consist of constructing a stabilized subgrade course yielding a Soil Support Value (SSV) of 5.0 or greater in the top 6 in (150 mm) of the Plan-indicated thickness of the roadbed in both excavation and embankment areas. Also includes incorporating an aggregate stabilizer material uniformly throughout the subbase course in accordance to these Specifications and conforming to the lines, grades, and typical sections shown on the plans.

10.0 inches -Cement-Treated Base Meeting a minimum Unconfined Compressive Strength of 300 PSI Cement-Treated Base 316.1 General Description This Work includes constructing a pre-mixed, cement-treated base course composed of graded aggregate, Portland cement and water proportioned, uniformly blended, placed, compacted, and cured in accordance with these Specifications. This Work shall conform to the lines, grades, thickness, and typical cross-sections shown in the Plans or established by the Engineer. 6.0 inches – Graded Aggregate Base Compaction to 86% of Apparent Gravity Graded Aggregate Base 310.1 General Description This Work includes constructing a base course composed of mineral aggregates, constructed in accordance to these Specifications and to the lines, grades, thickness, and typical cross- section shown on the Plans or established by the Engineer. In lieu of traditional compaction requirements, the Graded Aggregate Base must be compacted to at least 86% of Apparent Density as established by the GDT23 test method to be accepted.
