Using the Touchscreen Hide the Touchscreen keyboard Your BlackBerry smartphone shows the touchscreen keyboard when you tap a text field, and hides the keyboard when you tap the hide bar just above the keyboard. You can hide the keyboard manually to display more content on the screen. To show the keyboard again, click Show Keyboard icon in the tool bar at the bottom of the screen.
