7 Thesis: IntServ - Ethernet interworking Problem domain Achieving QoS across switched Ethernet by adhering to the Integrated Services over Specific Link Layers framework (ISSLL – RFC 2816) Goal Implement and evaluate the ISSLL framework over Ethernet Approach The validity of the total solution to be tested in a simulation model (OPNET, Ptolemy II, …) containing full vertical integration of the QoS solution.
