3. What Wolves Eat Wolves usually try to eat the sick old or young elk, but every once in a while will go for a fresher one. In summer,when elk migrate, wolves can eat on mice birds or fish. Other than just carrying meat to the den, wolves feed their pups by regurgitating whatever is left from their meal.

They have a hard time finding a new home. Moose usually live in mountains where it’s harder to lose habitat. This helps their pop. go up.
