Prey and predators must stand 0.5 m back to habitat If half of more of prey is covered by predator, the prey has been CAPTURED and is removed In each round, a predator MUST capture 3 prey to survive If fewer than 3 prey caught, predator DIES Each predator that captures 3 prey lives to reproduce one new offspring (3 prey=1 new predator) If ALL predators die, new predator enters habitat Prey population DOUBLES each generation (i.e. if 10 survive 20 next round) Maximum carrying capacity of habitat is 200 prey
