Things We Can Learn From Moses’ Instructions
They Needed To Hear Instructions From God In Order To Be Saved From The Egyptians. Moses Did Not Say: * “Run For Your Life.” “You’re Right, We Should Have Stayed In Egypt.” “Get A White Flag & We’ll Surrender.” “Let’s Go To War. We Can Beat Them.” They Were To Wait For Instructions.

They Were Responsible For Understanding The Way Of Salvation Provided To Them By God. They Were Hopeless, Helpless, & Confused. They Still Could See The “Salvation Of The Lord.”

Things We Can Learn From Moses’ Instructions
They Had To Obey God In Order To Be Delivered. It Was Not Enough To Hear The Instructions. It Was Not Enough To See The Salvation Of The Lord. They Had To Obey God’s Command & Seek The Way Of Escape.

“Stand Still ” We Need To Hear God’s Instructions In Order To Be Saved. Man Cannot Direct His Own Way. Jer. 10:23 We Must Reject Those Men & Their Doctrines. God Gave His Word To Teach All Men. 2 Tim. 3:16-17 Lke. 24:44-47 2 Thes. 2:13-14 Man’s Word Is Not Adaptable To All Men.

We Are Responsible For Understanding The Way Of Salvation Provided By God. God Has Chosen The Way. Eph. 1:3-6 Saved In Christ – Heb. 2:9; 1 Tim. 2:5-6 Saved By Grace – Eph. 2:8; 2 Tim. 1:9 Saved In One Body – Eph. 2:14-16; 4:4 Saved By The Gospel – Rom. 1:16; Cor. 15:1-3 Some Say We Cannot Understand God’s Way!

Some Say Obedience Is Not Necessary
If Israel Failed To Obey, They Would Have Been Destroyed. If We Fail To Obey, We Will Be Destroyed – Thes. 1:7-9 “But We Are Saved By Grace, Not Works.” When Israel Obeyed, Saved By Grace – Exo. 14:18, 30-31 When We Obey, We Are Saved By Grace – Col. 1:11-12 “Men Will Boast In Their Obedience.” Israel Did Not – Exo. 15:1-2, 11-13 Those Saved Will Not – Titus 3:5; Eph. 2:8-9
