1. FINANCIAL FITNESS *Dating is the interview phase before marriage. *After marriage, whatever was done to get the spouse, needs to continue to keep the spouse. *No job will higher one without an interview. *Whatever is shown on the interview needs to be shown on the job to KEEP THE JOB.

FINANCIAL FITNESS HOW TO KEEP A JOB (Romans 13:1-5) VS.1 We are to obey the authorities; because they come from God. -When God blesses us with a job, we must realize that our boss or supervisor is the authority. -Even if we don’t like the boss or the supervisor, God put them there as the authority. VS.2 When we refuse to obey the set authority, we are refusing to obey God himself; punishment will follow. -Our boss is not God, but God put the boss in the position. -To not obey the boss is to not obey God. -Negative consequences will follow.

FINANCIAL FITNESS HOW TO KEEP A JOB (Romans 13:1-5) VS.3 The authorities only frighten people who are doing wrong. -When on our job, we have no reason to tighten up really quickly when the boss comes around if we are already doing the right thing. VS.4 The authorities are sent by God to help us, and to punish those who do wrong. -For those who have the opportunity to be in a position of authority, we are sent TO HELP OUR EMPLOYEES. -When employees do wrong we must discipline them in LOVE.

FINANCIAL FITNESS HOW TO KEEP A JOB (Romans 13:1-5) VS.5 We should obey to keep from being punished and to keep a clear conscience. -For those of us who are saved; even when we do wrong on the job and think we are getting away, our conscience won’t let us get away HOW TO KEEP A JOB (GENESIS 6 NOAH & THE ARK) 1.At the command of God, Noah preached rain for 120 years when the world had never seen rain. -We must follow the boss even if we think he/she is crazy. -The best way to prove the boss wrong is to do what he/she asks us to do.

5. FINANCIAL FITNESS HOW TO KEEP A JOB (GENESIS 6 NOAH & THE ARK) 2. According to Genesis 6:22, God instructed Noah to build the ark a certain way, and Noah DID ALL THAT GOD COMMANDED HIM TO DO. -We must learn to follow directions on our jobs. 3. According to Genesis 7, Noah’s family was saved because of his work. -The way we work on our jobs DOES AFFECT OUR FAMILIES. HOW TO KEEP A JOB (DON’T CHEAT THE JOB) Ephesians 4:28 “Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.” -Stop stealing time on the job; TIME IS MONEY. -Stop stealing time on the job; TIME IS MONEY.
