8
Application Services Attendance Enterprise is available in a multi- tiered configuration. Many lengthy processes can be ‘off-loaded’ onto central Windows 2000/NT Servers for faster processing. Why Services?

11
User Interface The user interface is based upon the Microsoft ‘Outlook’ frame design. Attendance Enterprise uses Microsoft SQL Server (7 or 2000) for data storage. ADO (Active Data Objects) are used for communication between the application and the database provider.
12
OLE Automation Any Summary Sheet data presented within Attendance Enterprise can be easily copied to Microsoft Excel.

Strategic Administrative Reducing Cost & Overhead Improve Service to Employees and Managers Integrate Self Service Goals Eliminating process’s, steps, approval, forms Increase Information Accessibility
15
ISAPI Browser Component Attendance Enterprise implements its own ISAPI component for all Browser clients. Client state information is maintained without the need for browser cookies or java applets. Supervisor access and Employee Self Service each maintain individual thread pools and connection management for ‘best possible’ IIS scalability.

17
Security Attendance Enterprise tables are protected through the use of MS-SQL Application Roles, MS-SQL Accounts or NT Authenticated User Accounts. Network traffic is optionally encrypted by MS-SQL.
