Powys midwives: Carry their own caseload of women They are the lead professional and co-ordinate care for all women They refer women to DGH when appropriate but continue to provide midwifery support. As small teams they provide a 24 hour on call service. Available to all Powys women. They work flexible hours to meet the needs of the client.
