Our business is set up as an alternative “consequence” or activity for students to do after receiving a drug or alcohol charge. This program promotes other activities around the town of Farmville that they people may not have previously been aware of. It would be a partnership with the Outdoor Adventure Store. The bikes and kayaks we use would be rented from them. Objective

Our business will be run by Longwood students who are in need of volunteer hours and a willingness to put in a little time to help the overall image of the community improve. How it is run

There are many activities available through our program including an outdoor adventure park, bike rides down high bridge trail, and kayaking trips. Activities

There will be a base price of $50 in order to participate in our program which is significantly cheaper than the ASAP class required by Farmville. That includes all bike and kayak rentals, but the zip line would require an additional $15, because of higher prices to participate in that course. Program Prices

ASAP : 8 hour class on Saturdays starting at 8am at $75 FRP : 2 or 3 hours long $50 (kayaking, biking) or $75 (zip lines) ASAP vs. Farmville Recreation Program

Trail Cruiser Bike: 2 hours = $13 3 hours = $17 Mountain Bike: 2 hours = $18 3 hours = $23 $50 for the 17 zip lines only - valid for 3 hours $50 for the 61 high ropes/obstacles only- valid for 3 hours 1 (2 seater) kayak for 3 hours = $30 1 (1 seat) kayak for 3 hours = $25 Outdoor Adventure Costs
