8. Projection Unit Hints Always face the class. – Aim screen so you can see class while look at display. Never read your presentation from the slides! Print handouts of the PowerPoint slides. – Don't force your students to copy projected info. Always prepare for the worst (make back-up plans): – Have a backup copy of your PowerPoint slides. – Print out copies of your slides on transparencies. – Carry a spare bulb. Bulbs burn out at the worst possible times.

9. Projection Unit Hints Don't run on battery. Plug PC in! Turn off the screen saver. – Right-click over a blank area of the desktop and select the "screen saver" tab. Turn off/down power management options. – In the control panel, select power management. Adjust settings to "never."
