RAPP Its not just for hip-hop anymore!!

Why do we need to RAPP? Sometimes on tests, we have to answer in a paragraph or a few sentences. RAPP helps us remember how to answer properly and get credit for our responses. When you learn RAPP format, answering written questions like this is much easier.
3
What does it mean? Restate the question or prompt in your response.
Answer the question with your thoughts. Prove that your answer is correct with information from the text. Proofread your response so that there are no mistakes!
4
For example… Q: In the story, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, how does the character Harry demonstrate responsibility? A: In the story, Harry Potter demonstrates responsibility by looking out for his friends. For example, when Ron is in danger, Harry tries to save him. Even though Ron and Harry were fighting at the time, Harry still tried to help his friend. This is how Harry Potter demonstrates responsibility in the story, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
5
How do we restate? When we restate, we just say the same thing… in a different way. We use the same words that were given to us. We turn a question into a sentence Like this…
