1 Conversation Andy and Susan are talking about a strange e-mail they received yesterday. (A = Andy, S = Susan)

2 A: Did you read that e-mail from Mary last night? S: It wasn’t really hers. She just forwarded an e-mail she received from a stranger. A: It said, “You make your own luck!” and asked us to send it to at least ten people. S: Or we’ll get bad luck in the future. How ridiculous!

3 A: But Mary must have believed the e-mail because she sent it to all her friends. S: Mary believes in all kinds of strange things, like magic and witches. It’s like she’s living in a Harry Potter movie! A: Although I don’t believe in such things, I still worry about bad luck. So, I’m going to forward the message anyway. S: Your friends will think you’re crazy, or just a little silly.

4 A: That’s better than having bad luck. You should do the same, to be on the safe side. S: No way! I’m not going to join in this ridiculous game. A: Better safe than sorry! I’ve got nothing to lose by forwarding this e-mail. S: Well, I think you’re losing your mind. Just don’t send it to me, because I’ve already got it. 結束放映
