2 Parkman Road Improvements Phase 1 (2008) - $2 million Phase 2 (2011) - $1 million Phase 3 (2014) - $3 million Parkman Road Bridge (2012) - $4.6 million Collective Cost = Over $10 million

3 Parkman Road Improvements – Phase 1 Constructed 2008 – 2009 West Market Street to west of Linda Drive NW $2 Million 100% funded through ODOT and FHWA

4 Parkman Road Improvements – Phase 2 Constructed in 2011 Southern Blvd. north to City Limits $1 Million 100% funded through ODOT and FHWA

5 Parkman Road Improvements – Phase 3 Scheduled for 2014 Linda Drive to Southern Blvd. New 5 lane roadway with left turn lanes between Southern Blvd. & Coit Ave. NW to eliminate left turn accidents. $3 Million 80% funded through ODOT and FHWA

6 Parkman Road Bridge Project Is currently under construction – 2012 Bridge Replacement Left turn lanes at Tod Ave. & Lovers Lane $4.6 million Traditional ODOT Project Local Share is $28,000 (1/2% of total cost)

7 Warren Boulevard Bridge Project This year - 2012 US 422 Bridge Replacement Over railroad between Logan and Chestnut $2 million Traditional ODOT Project 100% funded through ODOT and FHWA

8 Between 2003 and 2009 there were 25 accidents on Lovers Lane. 21 of the 25 accidents were single car failure-to-control accidents. Lovers Lane Reconstruction

9 Lovers Lane – Phase 1 Reconstructed a vertical curve by cutting existing hill near the Warren Twp. Cemetery

10 Lovers Lane – Phase 1 Visibility and safety was improved by paint striping, guardrail, signage and clearing vegetation.

11 Lovers Lane Reconstruction – Ph 1 Resurfaced from West Market Street to Williamsburg Street. Also resurfaced and striped portions of: Southern Blvd. Paige Ave. Perkinswood Blvd. 2011 - Phase 1 - $400,000 – Issue 2

12 Lovers Lane Reconstruction – Ph 2 An 800 foot section near Starlite Drive will be reconstructed to new grade. New guardrail, signage, paint striping, and clearing of vegetation along the roadway.

13 Lovers Lane Reconstruction – Ph 2 Resurfacing from Williamsburg Street to Parkman Rd. Also resurfacing portions of: Southern Blvd. Perkinswood Blvd. Atlantic St. Laird Ave. Berkshire Dr. Harvard Dr. 2012 - Phase 2 - $900,000 – Issue 2

14 CBD Road Projects: TRU- Park Ave. Will be constructed this summer (2012) Fulton Street to the northern city limits. Cost is $650,000 ODOT/FHWA and Issue 2 Funding (100%).

15 CBD Road Projects Continued: 1. South Street & Summit Street Resurfacing 2011 (Traditional ODOT) Cost $1 million 2. TRU - High Street Resurfacing Project 2010 Cost - $365,000 3. TRU – 45 (Mahoning Ave.) Reconstruction 2010 Cost - $475,000 4. TRU - East Market St. Reconstruction 2008 – 2009 Cost - $1.8 million

16 Upcoming Federal Projects 2013 - Niles Road - $550,000 2014 - Pine Avenue - $900,00 2015 - Palmyra Road, Highland Ave. & Main Ave. - $2 million 2016 - West Market St. - $2.5 million Collective Cost = $6 million

17 Requesting Federal & State Funds: Youngstown Road Reconstruction Laird Ave. to Ridge Road $4 million Youngstown Road Resurfacing Ridge Road to North Road $1 million

18 Decorative Crosswalks (2009 & 2010) Mahoning Avenue Lighting (2010) Warren Boulevard Trees (2011) Community Signs (Future Project) Gateway Improvements

19 City Sign Ordinance The City of Warren is presently reviewing its sign ordinance and discussing adoption of new regulations.

20 Greenway Bike Trail Phase 1 (2011) - $1.2 million Phase 2 (2012) - $1.4 million

21 Trails through Bullhead Park (Footbridge) Stone retaining wall repair at Packard Park Trails along river at Burbank Park Trails through the Lovers Lane parklands Overlook at the Mahoningside Property FHWA – $1.1 million – 2012 or 2013 Riverwalk Project
