A Brief History of CETL Established in 1984 and until 2002 led by part-time directors Through 2000 CETL programs included Teaching with technology Faculty Leadership Kennesaw program New faculty orientation Georgia Conference on College & University Teaching (established 1994) Publication of KSU’s in-house newsletter, Reaching Through Teaching 2001-2002 Faculty Leadership Teams on SoTL and e-Learning

CETL Reinvented in 2002 Reorganization with full-time Director and one staff member Five half-time Faculty Fellows Dedicated space Enhanced budget

CETL’s Team Director Two Administrative Coordinators Six Faculty Fellows, 2 of whom are full-time Associate Directors (AD) Mentoring for Faculty & Student Success (AD) Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (AD) e-Learning Diversity Across the Curriculum Advancing Undergraduate Research (new in 2006, was Interdisciplinary Teaching) Learner-Centered Teaching (new in 2006, was Reflective Practice of Teaching)
