PARENT INFO SCHEDULES AVAILABLE IN RECORDS OFFICE – CHANGES CAN STILL BE MADE BY COUNSELORS AND ADMIN. PLEASE ATTEND YOUR SESSION BEFORE GETTING SCHEDULE. STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE FINAL SCHEDULE ON 1 ST DAY OF SCHOOL TITLE 1 SERVICES – INSTRUCTIONAL COACHES, INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS, SUPPORT STAFF, TUTORING. BOOKS – STUDENTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO OVER $400 WORTH OF BOOKS. LOST OR DAMAGE BY STUDENT IS RESPONSIBILITY OF STUDENT TO PAY FOR. WILL RESULT IN HOLDING OF DIPLOMA, IF FINES ARE NOT PAID. FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR ALL CCS STUDENTS. STUDENTS RELEASED FOR DOCTORS APPOINTMENT MUST HAVE PARENT COME TO THE BUILDING TO SIGN OUT STUDENT PER DISTRICT POLICY

STEM PRACTICES FOCUS FOR 2014-15: MODIFY SUPPORTS EXTENSION OF LEARNING STUDENTS NEED TO CONSTANTLY WORK TO IMPROVE LEARNING TOWARDS MASTERY WE WILL SUPPORT STUDENTS TOWARDS MASTERY BY PROVING OPPORTUNITIES STUDENTS SETTLING FOR ‘C’ OR ‘D’ WORK IN PRACTICE, STUDENTS WILL BE ASKED TO REDO, RETRY, RETHINK THEIR PRODUCT TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR LEARNING

AFTER SEPT 1 ST, THE FOLLOWING PROCESS WILL BE USED FOR ENFORCEMENT 1 ST OFFENSE – SLIP GIVEN TO STUDENT DIRECTING THEM TO GIVE TO PARENT 2 ND OFFENSE – PHONE CALL TO PARENT 3 RD OFFENSE – LUNCH TIME RECOVERY THE SAME DAY 4 TH OFFENSE – THURSDAY SCHOOL

CLASS ATTENDANCE HALL TRANSITIONS/PASSES PASSES WILL BE LIMITED TO NOT DETER FROM OUR ACADEMIC FOCUS. TEACHERS CONTROL STUDENT ACCESS TO USE OF THE HALLWAYS DURING INSTRUCTIONAL TIME. EMERGENCIES ARE JUST THAT, EMERGENCIES. PARENTS, WE NEED YOU TO COMMUNICATE TO US ON THE NEEDS OF YOUR STUDENT. TEACHERS PLAN LESSONS AROUND INSTRUCTION AND THE ACADEMIC NEEDS OF YOUR STUDENT. PARENTS: THIS IS NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE. WE ARE SETTING UP EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENTS TO BE IN SCHOOL, IN CLASS, ON TIME!!!!! ANY EXCUSE/REASON/RATIONALE DETERS FROM OUR ACADEMIC FOCUS
