12 CONGRATULATIONS JON CROFT CONGRATLATIONS TO JON CROFT HOLLINGSWORTH ON BEING SELECTED TO PLAY IN THE 2013 TOUCHSTONE ENERGY COOPERATIVES BOWL GAME – NORTH VS. SOUTH FOOTBALL GAME. The game will be played at DOUG SHAW STADIUM in Myrtle Beach on December 14, 2013. GOOD JOB JON CROFT!

15 TENNIS ANYONE? There will be a tennis meeting on Wednesday, November 6yh in Coach Still's room (F240), after school for anyone (boys and girls) wishing to play tennis for Greenwood High School this season or next season. The meeting is very important and will take about 15 minutes.

16 This past Saturday GHS JROTC Raider Team participated in Greenwood High School’s Annual Raider Competition. Six schools competed in this year’s competition. There were 6 events total. Greenwood took 3rd place Overall. The members of the GHS Raider team are: Darius Dorn, Caleb Sellers, Chaz Demsey, Cecillia Hacket, James Nunn, Dakota Fowler, Toye Patrick, and Our Team Commander Chad Chrislip.

27 DAR GOOD CITIZEN Congratulations to Carson Strom! Carson has been voted for by the faculty / staff of GHS as the 2013-2014 DAR Good Citizen recipient. DAR honors outstanding seniors who demonstrate qualities of a good citizen. Congratulations Carson!

28 BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS What: Boys Basketball Tryouts When: November 12 th - 14 th Where: GHS GYM Time: 6:15 - 7:45 p.m. each night *All participants MUST have a current physical form and concussion form on file. See Coach Stevens for questions or concerns

30 ATTENTION ALL CAR-RIDERS Under no circumstances should students by dropped off before 7:30 a.m. All car-riders should be dropped off after 7:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 4:00 p.m. each day. Students that are unable to secure a ride before 4:00 p.m. are expected to ride the bus.

32 HOMECOMING COURT All Homecoming Court contestants who purchased pictures may pick them up before or after school this week in Mrs. Moore's classroom F 133.

34 GHS POLICY ON ALTERCATIONS If a fight occurs on campus, students are asked to leave the area immediately. Students who choose to run towards the fight will receive 2 DAYS SUSPENSION.

35 WRESTLING TEAM Anyone that would like to wrestle this season should plan to attend tryouts beginning November 5th from 6:30-8:00 in the Old Merrywood Cafeteria behind Chik Fil A. Everyone that attends needs to have a completed physical form and concussion form turned in to Mrs. Miller in the Athletic Office, or to Coach Brewer. Any questions, See Coach Brewer in E 211.

36 GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS Tryouts for the Girls Basketball Team will be Monday, November 4 th and Tuesday, November 5 th from 3:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. A ny girl interested in trying out MUST have a physical form and concussion form on file.

38 SUPPORT YOUR GREENWOOD EAGLES Show your school spirit each Friday and support our Greenwood Eagles! The Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleaders will be selling “Spirit Ribbons” every Friday for $.50.

40 STOP THE SAG Students are reminded that all pants are to be worn at the hips. Zip ties will be provided to all students wearing pants below the hips and you will get a disciplinary referral.

46 PARKING PASS All cars MUST have a parking pass on their vehicles. Any student without a current pass will be written up. Students are NOT allowed to ride together without prior approval.

52 Cell Phone Policy Cell phones must be put away at 8:30. Students may use their cell phones during their designated lunch period in these areas only: -Cafeteria -Fishbowl -Blacktop Cell phones may be used after 3:30.
