SANCTIFICATION The act of making holy. In an evangelical sense, the act of God's grace by which the affections of men are purified or alienated from sin and the world, and exalted to a supreme love to God.

John 17:17-19 (NKJV) 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Edification: The act of building, building up The act of one who promotes another’s growth in Christian wisdom, piety, happiness, holiness

Spend: to incur expense, expend, spend.

Very gladly: with great pleasure.

Spent: to exhaust by expending, to spend wholly, use up. For your souls!
