Warrior Logisticians 3 Greetings and hello from FOB Hammer, Iraq! From CW4 Magras Enclosed you will find pictures from our 3rd Brigade 3rd ID Combat Operating Posts (COPs)
4
Warrior Logisticians 4 I am hoping that these pictures will give you a small idea as to our daily challenges and the dedication of our 92Gs, who by the way are doing a super job. We will continue to build on each field kitchen and provide the best service possible to all of our Soldiers and civilians alike.
5
Warrior Logisticians 5 My Unit subsisted on UGR H&S, MREs, and supplements and enhancements for the first 90 days on ground.
6
Warrior Logisticians 6 Our biggest challenge was refrigeration. It took some time and some dealing to acquire the ones that we currently have at each post. We currently have a total of four 20’ reefers and three ISU 96s. Without this vehicle, we were not able to transport rations or ice to our Soldiers. Temperatures here have been as high as 118 degrees.
