Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association AAYSA is the only organization of its kind in the state. It offers programs for all levels of age and development in youth soccer. Eight different programs are funded, coordinated, and run by AAYSA: Travel Program Arsenal Youth Academy Arsenal Junior Academy Reed-Lopez Scholarship Fund Summer Programs Outreach Program TOPSoccer Program Greater Washtenaw Area Soccer League

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association The new AAYSA Fields Complex is located in Pittsfield Township, on Platt Rd. between Michigan Ave. and Bemis Rd. Play there will begin in the spring of ’07. The facility will have two full size game fields and four practice fields. Although not all games will be played at the fields (in order to preserve the quality of the new facility), exposure at the new AAYSA Complex will be very extensive and of tremendous value to Saturn.

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association Travel Program Arsenal is considered one of the Premier Soccer Travel Programs in the State of Michigan Arsenal carries 37 travel teams, with participants ranging from 7-18 years of age Each team will train a minimum of 2 times per week for 1 ½ hours and play 4-6 games per season (fall outdoor and spring outdoor) at the new facility The AAYSA Complex will host a minimum of 150 games per season, which visiting teams from all over Southeast Michigan Each game will involve 20-36 participants, (depending on age of team), coaching staff for each team, referee crew, parents and other spectators – as many as one hundred people Annual Tryouts (a week in mid-June) attract well over five hundred families to Arsenal fields

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association JUNIOR/YOUTH ACADEMY Junior Academy meets weekly for 8 weeks during Fall Outdoor and Spring Outdoor (16 total weeks) Youth Academy meets weekly for 8 weeks during Fall Outdoor and Spring Outdoor Youth Academy will play 8 games per season at the AAYSA field complex

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association Reed-Lopez Scholarship Fund Natalia Reed-Lopez was fatally injured while vacationing with her family in Spain. She was a wonderful person and an asset to her team, having been named Most Valuable Player in her last tournament. She was an intelligent and skilled player with a commitment to her team both on and off the field. She embodied what AAYSA stands for and what we hope every young person learns while participating in AAYSA. The Natalia Reed-Lopez Scholarship Fund allows young people an opportunity to participate in a sport that Natalia loved. Scholarship recipients will have an opportunity to make new friends, overcome challenges, dedicate themselves to achieving goals, win and lose matches, and have fun in the process. Currently, AAYSA has 12 Scholarship Participants due to Financial Need.

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association TOPSOCCER PROGRAM The TOPSoccer Program enables physically, mentally and emotionally challenged children to participate in the world’s most popular sport. The AAYSA TOPSoccer Program is the largest of its kind in Michigan. TOPSoccer will meet once weekly for 5 weeks during Fall Outdoor and Spring Outdoor Seasons

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association OUTREACH PROGRAM The Peace Neighborhood Outreach Program was implemented for socially and economically disadvantaged children. The Outreach Program meets three times each year for two consecutive weeks – Summer Session, Fall Outdoor, and Spring Outdoor.

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association Greater Washtenaw Area Soccer League GWASL carries 14 teams that practice once a week Each GWASL team will play 4 games per season (Fall Outdoor and Spring Outdoor) at the AAYSA field complex AAYSA will host 90-100 GWASL games in ‘07

Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association Additional Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities: Each Corporate Sponsor will also be recognized on the AAYSA web-site (www.aaysa.net), which is referenced by all AAYSA players and parents on a on- going basis through-out the season. Prominent Corporate Sponsorship recognition will also occur in the bi-Annual Newsletter to our membership.
