New Deal did greatly expand federal power and power of President US went into debt to pay for New Deal and it did not end the Depression, increased military spending between 1939 and 1941 did New Deal today – Increased govt. role in economy – NLRB, FDIC, SEC, CCC, Social Security, TVA, Agricultural price supports all still in use today
