7 The Widow and the 2 Coins The Lord Jesus Christ went into the temple. He looked up and saw the rich people putting lots of money and treasures for donations.

8 The Widow and the 2 Coins The Lord saw a poor widow among the rich. She walked to the treasury and there she put two coins. She was happy to do that. The Lord Jesus Christ said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them”

9 The Widow and the 2 Coins They did not know that the Lord Jesus does not look for the amount of money but He looks for the heart. “This poor widow has put in more than all of them, for they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all the that she had?” “God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

11 When we give… -Give with LOVE. -When we help someone in need it is like giving to GOD -We give without expecting something in return. -We don’t show off what we are giving. -We can give love, time, effort

12 Questions What did Jesus enter? What did Jesus saw the rich people do? Who did Jesus notice? Was the widow rich? What was the widow doing? Was the widow sad that she was giving? What lesson did Jesus teach the people? When we give it is like giving to _ _ _ “God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
