5.  Lassi is a popular, traditional, yogurt-based drink from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes, fruit. MANGO LASSI

12.  The writing system is called devanagari.  Each word is made up of a large consonant or vowel character and a small vowel symbol, usually a slash mark.  The vowel * sounds like the a in again.
