Kilve Court information Kilve Court is a Georgian country house with modern extensions, set in 40 acres of landscaped gardens and wooded grounds on the northern edge of the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and close to the sea. Its position between the hills and the coast provides opportunities for a vast range of physical and academic activities. Kilve Court is situated on the A39, 12 miles west of Bridgwater and 14 miles from Minehead

Transport The children will be travelling by train from Reading station to Bridgwater station. They will change trains at Weston-Super-Mare. On arrival at Bridgwater they will travel to the centre in the Kilve Court minibus. Children will need to be dropped at Reading station at approximately 10am on 7 th September and then collected at approximately 4pm on Wednesday 9 th. (Exact timings will be notified nearer the time)

Packing List Sleeping bag, bottom sheet and pillow case Outdoor shoes/trainers Socks (NOT trainer style) Trousers/tracksuit bottoms (old clothes for stream walk) Sweatshirt/fleece Wellington boots and long socks Waterproofs (over-trousers if possible, not essential) T-shirts and shorts (warm weather) Sun hat and cream Nightwear Toilet bag – soap, flannel toothbrush & paste etc Towel Simple water bottle, NOT glass (1 litre) Useful extras: torch, camera, book PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL KIT IS CLEARLY NAMED

Other info Children will need a small rucksack for the journey. A fully disposable packed lunch is needed on day of departure. Pocket money: There is a shop that sells postcards and small gifts. It is suggested a maximum of £5 per child for spending money. Money should be handed to one of the accompanying staff on the morning of the trip. Any medicines should be clearly marked and handed to one of the accompanying staff members on the morning of the trip.

Forms Please can parents complete and return the two forms in the pack and return to the school office as soon as possible.
