SUBMEPP CTRA executors make the following program recommendations and observations:
SPETERL alignment: more responsive turn around to ship
SCATs: improved, more proactive assignment of SCATs
Standard boat equipment SCAT coded (LAN testing, optical, IR guns)
Educate and encourage ISEAs to use TMDEI and METRL
(through CMRS – Calibration/Measurement Requirements Summary)
NAVICP substituting “equivalent” TE under same NSN that are not equivalent and not approved by Corona
SCAT tech specs have expanded over time, not all TE under one SCAT are created equal (split SCATs or designate SPETE)
