Background Checks UNIVERSITY HUMAN RESOURCES 3 IU policy for Staff & Temporary employees requires that criminal and sex offender information is verified as a condition of employment IU Programs Involving Children policy requires that individuals who will work with children have been subject to a criminal background check and sex offender registry check within the last five years

GIS Standard Package UNIVERSITY HUMAN RESOURCES 4 The standard background check package that will be utilized by IU will include: SSN Trace SSN Validation County Criminal Search GIS National Database Search which includes sex offender registries
