Prohibition During the prohibition two mafia families established themselves The Lonardo and Porello family produced liquor using corn and sugar. Later on Porello takes over operation by assassinating leaders of the Lonardo family.

Mayfield Road Mob Mafia gang based in Cleveland's Little Italy. Little ItalyLittle Italy Frank Milano headed the Mayfield Road mob in the 1930’s This Mafia faction was even mentioned by its old name in the movie "The Godfather" as the Lakeview Road Gang, Lakeview Cemetery borders Mayfield Road Hill which marks the beginning of Little Italy in Cleveland. Italians made tombstones for Lakeview cemetery and they were masons used in construction.
