GURC-SW offers programs, courses & workshops for Deaf/Hard of Hearing People, their Families, and the Professionals who work with them. GURC-SW is the only Regional Center that offers a 2 + 2 agreement program to take ACC classes for credit & transfer. Serves an 8-State region: Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana

PROJECT ACCESS A WORKSHOP DESIGNED TO HELP FACULTY UNDERSTAND DEAF CULTURE AND ADAPT THEIR TEACHING STYLE TO FOSTER BETTER LEARNING FOR DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING STUDENTS, AS WELL AS ALL OTHER STUDENTS. WORKING TOGETHER A WORKSHOP DESIGNED TO HELP EMPLOYERS UNDERSTAND DEAF CULTURE, COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING EMPLOYEES, AND DEVELOP THE SENSITIVITY AND SKILLS FOR COLLEAGUES TO WORK TOGETHER SUCCESSFULLY.
