The population in Spain is over 46,500,800 people. The best beaches in Spain are La Concha beach, Play De Las Caterdrails, Playa De Silencio, Ses Illetes, beaches of Sitges, La Barrosa, Costa Blanca and Costa Del Sol. Some rivers and lakes are called Ebro, Catalonia, levertae and Andalilagan Mediterranean. Mountains Teide (Tenerife), Mulhalen (Granada), Aneto (Huesco) and Ciandia. Geography

Climate Spain is one of the warmest countries in the world and the temperature is very high. In the summer the average temperature is 25-30 ◦C and in the winter the average temperature is 14-22 ◦C. Spain has 6 hours of daylight in the winter and 12 hours of daylight in the summer. In the winter they get approximately 7 cm of snow and in summer it’s pure sunlight. Spain is 2500m miles (6000km) away from the equator.

History The Spanish Civil War The Spanish Civil War was from 1936 until 1939. It all started when the Spanish army was in Morocco. A few of the most influential generals of the Spanish army led by general Francisco Franco rose up against the democratically elected Republican government. In 206 bc Spain (or as it was known Hispania back then) became part of the Roman Empire and was ruled by Rome for 500 years. The Spanish Flag The Spanish flag is referred to as Rojigualdo by Spaniards. It was originally designed after the flag of the Spanish Merchant and the war marines during the reign of Carlos the III.

Food In Spain the food that grows there are: Aubergines, broad beans, carrots, chilli peppers, courgettes, cucumbers, garlic, green beans, melons, onions, parsnips, potatoes, pumpkins, spinach, Suede, sweet peppers, corn and tomatoes

Clothes In Spain girls wear trousers and a modern top; both girls and boys are keen on designer clothes. They care a lot about their appearance. Everyone in Spain wears very modern clothes and denim, which is very popular. Their shoes are usually high-quality leather. Women wear sandals, flats, high heels and trainers. Men wear dress shoes and trainers. Boots are popular with men and women.

Sport They host the legendary Vuelta a Espana cycling race. Other sports that they play include football, golf, skiing, fishing, sailing and boating.

School They start school at 9am until 12.30pm, they have recroe for 30minutes and Tarde for 2 hours,4 till 6pm. They learn to speak a different language from an early age.
