Sent:Wednesday, January 11, 2006 4:26 PM Subject:Dragon Comparison I would estimate that Dragon cuts the time to do a note ito 1/3 to ¼. the prior I spend minimal time making correction s– none of which are spelling now. That will improve with when it learns my voice more. I didn’t get to use it much last week when at the hospital but the 2 days before – I got lunch which I haven’t done once a after morning clinic in a very long time – many months. I have been using the system for only a couple of weeks and can already see a drastic improvement in my ability to manage my time and documentation. I estimate that the Dragon 8 system saves me a minimum of one to two hours per day already, and has improved my documentation by allowing me to include more detail than would otherwise be possible in the template systems. Although I have no experience with dictation, and am not yet truly comfortable with the process, the Dragon 8 system is very user-friendly...
