2. Who are we? Safe Haven is a program that meets after school to help us with homework and we also do other fun activities like: –GIRLS CLUB –BOY SCOUTS –TU MENTORS –TU GARDEN –EDUCATION FIELDTRIPS

3. Safe Haven Teens Girls Club The girls meet with the ladies from Washington Chapel church for activities 2 times each month. We learn math, reading and how to be ladies.

4. Safe Haven Teens Boy Scouts The boys meet with our Boy Scout leaders for Troop #174 meetings and activities every week. We do knots, learn first aid, and learn about camping.

5. Safe Haven Teens TU Mentors We meet with Tuskegee University Social Work students each week for crafts, sewing, games and gardening.

6. Safe Haven Teens TU Garden In the spring and summer we meet with students at the TU Farm, each week, to plant and pick flowers, vegetables and fruit.

7. Safe Haven Teens Education Fieldtrips We go to museums, parks, marches, festivals and we went to see Senator Barak Obama in Iowa at the Presidential Forum.

8. Safe Haven Teens Our Grades - We have all passed our grades in school Our Behavior - None of us has been in any trouble with the Juvenile Court

Macon Green Center for Jobs and Industry  RECYCLE - Green means we would help to recycle and improve our environment.  JOBS - This would be a place for teens and others to create jobs, and serve the older people and the community.  LEARN - We would have a place to learn after school, study and tell about our history and work on making businesses.
