Kfar Saba, a community founded in 1903, achieved municipal status in 1962. The city’s location, its population, and its quality of life not only serve to attract new residents, but keep its native residents firmly rooted and established. Kfar Saba is located in the center of Israel. Kfar Saba, which is spread over 14,250 dunams (3.563 acres) includes numerous gardens and lush, green public parks. It is rich in leisure, cultural and sports activities, and its youth are actively involved in community life.

The city has won the Education Prize, the Youth Prize, the Minister’s Prize for Environmental Excellence and the Interior Ministry prize for sound financial administration. 50% of Kfar Saba’s teenagers are involved in community volunteer work. Kfar Saba was declared a Green City in 2011, and as such continues to invest in various unique projects, including the Green Neighborhoods project that includes a “green” school, the first of its kind in Israel.
