9 February 2005 Slide No. 9 Demilitarisation of APLs  Aim:  Destroy 1.3 million conventional APLs  Help Serbia and Montenegro fulfil its commitments under the Ottawa Convention  Make SEE free of APL stockpiles  Status: project launched in October 2004  Lead Nation: Canada/Austria  Contributors: Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Serbia and Montenegro, Switzerland  Budget: EUR 1.7 million  Aim:  Destroy 1.3 million conventional APLs  Help Serbia and Montenegro fulfil its commitments under the Ottawa Convention  Make SEE free of APL stockpiles  Status: project launched in October 2004  Lead Nation: Canada/Austria  Contributors: Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Serbia and Montenegro, Switzerland  Budget: EUR 1.7 million
