2 About the cell! There are one and a half billion cell phones in operation around the world. Here are some cell phone companies VZW, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Cingular, Motorola. You can get Pre-paid or get contracts with those companies to get a cell phone.

3 History! On the cell phones!  In 1947 the idea of a cell phone first arrived. Although at the time the technology did not exist to make the phone  Dr. Martin Cooper made the first prototype of a cell phone. 1974

4 More history! In 1988, A bunch of huge company's started to make a lot of cell phones In 1988, 54 places sold and made cell phones over the world.

5 The benefits of the cell phone! The benefits of a cell phone are great! You can keep in touch with people when your out of town. If you get in a car crash you have a cell phone to call 911, and get help. Kids can use their cell phones to call their parents in case of a emergency!

6 Benefits of having a cell phone part 2! People get lost very easily in unknown places. So having a cell phone you can call and get directions or some phones have navigation systems built into them. With a cell phone you can help others, if some ones house is on fire or a crime is going on you can call 911.

7 Negative impact cell phones make! It costs a lot of money to buy a cell phone and use it all the time u can run up your bill. Kids text way to much on these cell phones, and don’t pay attention to their parents or in school.

8 Negative impact part 2 Some people use a head phone for their cell phones so they don’t have to hold their cell to talk, called a Bluetooth. So they look like their talking to themselves, and they disrupt people when they do it in public places.

9 Part three! Even with out a Bluetooth people talk on their cell phones and disrupt others in public places.

10 Why are we so dependent on cell phones! We are so dependent on cell phones because, we use them almost everyday of our life. We use them to communicate for our work, we use them to call for emergencies, some people say we can’t live with out them.
