You are a contestant for the new TV reality Show “Master Chef Kids”. And the judges gave you the following challenge: “you have to prepare a typical and healthy recipe from a country. For this challenge you need to consider the number of servings ( 234, 485, 971) and the price of the ingredients.

First Stage Exploratory stage Bring general information about the chosen country, the ingredients for the recipe, the quantity of products for the recipe taking into account the number of plates to be served and written procedure for the preparation of the recipe. April 21nd to April 27th Second Stage Guided Stage. in a ppt file the Student will present the historical background of the recipe and will start the classification of its ingredients according to the Food Pyramid and their benefits. Students will also solve the challenges proposed for the preparation of the recipe and finally they will rewrite the recipe in Simple past tense. From May 13th to May 20th Final Presentation Oral presentation Oral explanation of the recipe preparation steps, including the quantity of ingredients used, their price, the classification of the ingredients and the historical and geographical context of the plate. from May 28 th to June 3 rd.

SCIENCE: Activity: Power point presentation with the classificatory table of the recipe ingredients. Evaluation: Describes and compares the different kinds of food according to their specific characteristics and classify them according to the food pyramid groups and their benefits. HISTORY: Activity: ppt file with the historical background of the recipe. Evaluation: investigation about the origin of the ingredients and the preparation of the recipe.
