Need to focus more on future contingencies and take past events into consideration to feed into the TTX
AHA Centre will look into possibilities for a joint- operational centre with ASEAN JOCA to include providing disaster relief assistance to the ARF Members
The outcome will be presented during the FPC

10. Day 2 Recap (11 September 2014) (cont)
Include specific briefing:
On the mechanisms used during major disaster for the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011
On the coordination of receiving aid during the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines
On NGO’s mechanisms in providing aid
Discussion to include two days for the TTX will be taken into consideration to maximize outcome of the exercise
