8. Route usage Clifton Campus: Annual usage estimate increased from 141,240 (2010) – 157,178 (2011) QMC: Annual usage estimate increased from 2,003,475 (2010) – 2,097,875(2011) University Boulevard: Respondents who had heard of Sustrans increased from 39% to 54%

Bike hire scheme At the start of the bike hire 47% described themselves as ‘starting to cycle again’ 81% of these now consider themselves ‘experienced occasional or regular’ cyclists 100% said they will continue to cycle in future “ I think it’s a great opportunity to explore more of the city and keep active, especially during stressful exam times” “Cheaper than bus pass! Helps maintain/improve fitness. Is useful for leisure activities, not just a means of getting to university”
