Why do we need a “Social Learning Platform?” Secure place to socialize with students and parents Collaboration allows students who may need more time to develop thoughts and ideas a place to express themselves and still feel successful and connected Teachers are more accessible to students and parents in a noninvasive environment Teacher’s can control, monitor, facilitate and lead discussions Multiple resources (documents, articles, videos, media clips) are always available Secure place to socialize with students and parents Collaboration allows students who may need more time to develop thoughts and ideas a place to express themselves and still feel successful and connected Teachers are more accessible to students and parents in a noninvasive environment Teacher’s can control, monitor, facilitate and lead discussions Multiple resources (documents, articles, videos, media clips) are always available
