Define: to confess. Example: Josh had to admit to his mom that he got dirt on her clean sheets. Ask: Can you tell something you had to admit?

Define: to trade things for other things without the use of money. Example: Amy likes to barter, or trade, parts of her lunch with Kim. Ask: What is another word for barter?

Define: thought carefully about. Example: Marta thought carefully as she considered which tomato to buy. Ask: Can you name something you considered doing?

Define: something that has been created. Example: Ella admired her creation in art class. Ask: Can you tell about a creation you made?

Define: not proud. Example: My grandfather’s house is humble, simple, and plain. Ask: What is the opposite of humble?

Define: grand and splendid to look at. Example: Mr. Jacobs took a picture of the magnificent canyon. Ask: What is a magnificent place you know?

Define: the act of paying for something. Example: Mom gave our neighbor payment for the vase. Ask: What do people usually use for payment?

Define: not willing. Example: The goats stepped reluctantly down the steep path. Ask: Can you show you would raise your hand reluctantly?
