If something doesn’t work properly take care of it NOW rather than later.

Operate the handle to open the spreader approximately 1/4 inch. Release pressure at the pump. Disconnect spreader. Inspect tool for damage - tips, handles, couplers, etc. Clean couplers and dust caps before installing.

Operate the handle to open the cutter until the blades just overlap at the tips. Release pressure at the pump. Disconnect cutter. Operate the handle to extend the ram approximately 1/4 inch. Release pressure at the pump. Disconnect ram. Inspect tool for damage - cross heads, handles, couplers, etc. Clean couplers and dust caps before installing.

Shut off pump with either throttle control or stop switch Put pump in ready position according to your local SOPs. Check fuel level. Inspect pump for damage - Frame, reservoir, PRD, couplers, etc. Clean couplers and dust caps before installing.

To prolong the life of your hose, minimize exposure to contaminants. Ensure that bend restrictors are in place and couplers are not damaged. Coil hose. Clean couplers and dust caps before installing.
