The mission of the Future Leaders of Indiana (FLI) Council is to further the professional development of its membership through education, mentorship and leadership opportunities while continuing to grow and develop the Indiana Motor Truck Association membership. 2 MISSION

4 *Objectives Utilize resources and talent available within IMTA Facilitate increased activity and participation in the IMTA Facilitate a perception change of the IMTA to increase marketability to potential members Protect and defend the honor, integrity and importance of the IMTA * Original objectives

5 STRUCTURE Follows the IMTA Code of Bylaws Council Guiding Principles (sop) Chairman, Vice Chairman & Secretary/Treasurer One year term, elected in the fall prior to IMTA Annual Convention One vote per FLI member Officer positions may not be filled by more than one representative from each company Chairman is a member of the IMTA Executive Committee Chairman may initiate/approve subcommittees as appropriate Logo Committee (one time committee), Education Committee (ongoing) IMTA staff is a member and serves as a liaison between the IMTA and FLI Council

6 MEETINGS Held at least four times per year May combine with other IMTA events in the interest of effective time management Includes business meeting as well as educational topic(s) Social events are usually a part of the meetings
