2 Some verbs in Spanish are a little trickier when you conjugate them because they take on a spelling change in their stem. Look at the following forms of the verb “pedir”: yopido nosotros pedimos túpides Ud./él/ella pideUds./ellos/ellas piden Notice how the e changed to i in all forms except for “nosotros”.

3 Let’s do some practice. What is the “tú” form of the verb “vestir”? vistes! That’s right… it’s repiten! Let’s do a few more. What is the “ellos” form of the verb “repetir”?

4 What is the “nosotros” form of the verb “pedir”? pedimos! That’s right… it’s visto! What is the “yo” form of the verb “vestir”?

5 What is the “ellos” form of the verb “repetir”? repiten! That’s right… it’s vestimos! What is the “nosotros” form of the verb “vestir”?
