8. Pelemix History
Founded by Katif Ag. co-op group as part of Katif nurseries in Israel to supply potting soil blends in Israel.
Opened Sri Lanka office and first production plant for compressed bales and grow bags.
2003 – Opened additional 2 plants in Sri Lanka and established Pelemix subsidiary in Spain and its mixing facility to serve the European market.
Established Pelemix India and opened first plant.
Privatization of the company (transferred ownership to 5 individuals) and opening of additional plant in India.
Opened 4th factory for grow bags in Sri Lanka.
Katzir foundation bought shares of Pelemix LTD.
Opened and began operating bales collection center in India.
