3. Bats are amazing animals. They are mammals. Did you know that bats are the only mammals that can fly? A mammal is warm-blooded, has hair or fur, gives live birth, gets milk from the mothers.

4. There are many different species of bats. The most popular bat is the little brown bat. The biggest bat is the Flying Fox, its wing span goes up to 6 feet! The bumble bee bat is the smallest bat in the world!

5. Bats live in deep, dark, damp, quiet places for example abandoned barns, hollow trees, and sometimes caves. When bats sleep they hang up side down.

6. Bats are helpful animals. They spread seeds and grow trees and plants. They also help farmers grow crops. Bats help keep nature/plants alive longer.
